I like spicy food but I can't often handle the burning sensations. I like channa masala, palak paneer, Tex-Mex, and fra diavolo sauce, and I'm trying to reduce my sensitivity to capsaicin. If anyone has had success with this I'd like to know!
I like herbs - basil, oregano, thyme, and so on. Most of my food also tends to have a lot of garlic. I like *lots* of herbs and salt in my food, lots of *flavor*.
I have a very low capsaicin tolerance. I don't enjoy the sensation of my mouth being on fire. It's rather awkward, living in the Southwest.
I love spices, all of them and mostly I like experimenting with them :D To me there is nothing better than throwing some chicken in a pan, wishing myself good luck and drowning it in some oddly coloured powder. :D I'm allergic to chilies so I especially like trying to recreate that taste best I can without the whole tongue swelling thing. Then again, I just adore cooking and experimentation in general.
