I wanted something relevant to what I was planning on writing about -- asexuality. But that's kind of a long word. So I was trying to figure out something that would sound nice with "ace" and something that had a bit of personality and eventually thought that "eccentric" was a word that would go well.
2) What are the three rules of the accessibility policy?
Members need to write image descriptions for any images they link to or include in their posts and comments. Flashing or animated images need to be placed behind a cut with a warning. Video descriptions are also required, even if the video has captions.

Hmm, that's a good question. If the images don't have captions at the site I'd say mention briefly what the most prominent ones are.

Animated things were behind a cut because I've read how they can be distracting/seizure-inducing to a lot of people. I think that if the video doesn't auto-play, it should be alright, but if you want to err on the side of caution that's good too.
